The annual spring tournament incorporating the 100th SE Open Championship was played in ideal conditions especially on Sunday for the championship. A highlight this year was a successful Saturday night dinner to recognise past SE Open winners, presidents and captains.

Major events do not happen without the support of sponsors and again we have been fortunate to have on-board:

·         Donehue’s Leisure

·         Lion

·         WinTV

·         Jetts Fitness

·         Footjoy and The Pro Shop

Major events require a lot of work and planning and thank you to all those that assisted:

·         Match Committee

·         House committee and David Boyce who provided his chef skills

·         Saturday night dinner volunteers including Russell Lewis for the work he did researching past winners and the SE Open Championship history

·         Admin for processing the entry forms

·         Pro Shop handling queries, late entries and results

·         Course staff and the band of volunteers for the course presentation which received many favourable comments.

·         Vicki Clark for going above and beyond as usual. Amazing.

And a thank you to all who supported the events and congratulations to those who featured in the results.

FEEDBACK – like everything there is always room for improvement and if you have any suggestions please put them forward for discussion by the match committee as part of the review process.
